Possesses extensive experience in interpreting technical drawings, operating conventional and CNC machinery, and using high\-precision measuring instruments. Responsible for ensuring the availability and optimal operation of equipment and tools by performing preventive and corrective maintenance. Collaborates closely with Engineering and Maintenance departments to drive continuous process improvement, implement modifications, and resolve technical issues. Has solid knowledge of materials, heat treatments, geometric tolerances, and quality systems. Demonstrates strong capability in fault diagnosis and working under pressure. **SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Maintain appropriate records of performed activities. * Keep the work area and maintenance locations clean and orderly. * Prepare, mount, and adjust tools, fixtures, and materials on CNC and conventional machines prior to machining. * Program CNC processes either at the machine or via software (G and M codes), performing necessary tests and adjustments. * Perform machining operations (turning, milling, grinding, drilling) per drawings and technical specifications. * Interpret mechanical drawings, dimensional and geometric tolerances (GD\&T) to ensure correct part fabrication. * Perform manual adjustments, polishing, assembly, and finishing of tools, molds, and dies. * Verify critical dimensions during the process using calibrated measuring instruments. * Fabricate replacement or repair parts for production tools and equipment. * Document machining parameters, adjustments made, and inspection results. * Manage and safeguard cutting tools, inserts, and consumables within the Tool Room area. * Comply with traceability procedures and change control for fabricated or repaired components. * Apply safety procedures (PPE, LOTO, safe machine operation). * Maintain the work area according to 5S standards of order and cleanliness. * Collaborate with Engineering on testing, modifications, and development of new tooling. **CANDIDATE PROFILE:** Education: Technical Degree in Machine Tools or related field, or Engineering degree. Skills: * Operation and programming of CNC machinery (lathes, milling machines, machining centers). iHMI Doosan Fanuc Series environment. * Programming of CNC processes either at the machine or via software (G and M codes), performing necessary tests and adjustments. * Operation of conventional machinery (lathes, milling machines, grinders, micro\-wire welding machines, plasma cutters, band saws with opening, belt sanders, etc.). * Interpretation of mechanical drawings and geometric tolerances (GD\&T). * Use of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, comparators, etc.). * Knowledge of machining processes and selection of cutting tools. * Adjustment, assembly, and repair of molds, dies, and fixtures. * Application of quality methodologies (inspection, dimensional control, failure analysis). * Basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance. * CAD/CAM software proficiency preferred. **Our Commitment to Our People** Across the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: Sustainability is no small ambition.
