Fully remote across the Americas — location doesn’t matter, but strong English does!** We’re looking for a Semi\-Senior Engineer to contribute to our AI\-driven platform, working across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and AI integration. This is a hands\-on role with growth potential — you’ll work closely with product leadership to improve, scale, and evolve a production product already used by clients. **About MountainsAI** We’re a UK\-based startup building an AI platform that helps organisations prioritise, create, and test AI use cases in a self\-service way. We’ve been building the product for over 1\.5 years, and it’s already live, stable, and used by 40\+ companies. Now, we’re focused on improving, scaling, and evolving the platform to the next level. **What you’ll do** * Contribute to the development of the end\-to\-end platform (React, Python/FastAPI, AWS) * Build and improve backend services, data models, and APIs * Develop and maintain parts of the frontend experience * Support the integration and improvement of LLM\-powered features * Assist in deployments, infrastructure tasks, and system reliability * Work on bug fixing, performance improvements, and continuous iteration * Collaborate with senior engineers and participate in technical discussions **What we’re looking for** * 4–7 years of experience as a full\-stack or backend\-focused engineer * Solid foundation in Python or JavaScript (React is a strong plus) * Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS or similar) * Experience working with APIs, databases, and modern web architectures * Ability to work with autonomy on well\-defined tasks * Strong willingness to learn, improve, and take increasing ownership over time **AI experience is not required, but a strong willingness to learn and work with AI systems and AI team is essential.** **What we offer** * Fully remote (work from anywhere) * Flexible working hours (aligned with the team when needed) * Compensation in pounds (£) depending on your profile * Long\-term contractor role (indefinite) * 25 days paid vacation * Opportunity to grow into a senior/ownership role within the platform * Work on a real, production AI product used by companies * Collaborative environment — you’ll work with an existing dev team, not alone Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent Pay: $65,000\.00 \- $80,000\.00 per month Language: * english (Required) Work Location: Remote
