Key Responsibilities The role typically spans strategic advisory, technical leadership, and platform governance: \- Solution Design \& Architecture: Lead the creation of detailed technical designs and architectural blueprints. \- Platform Governance: Establish and enforce standards for development, security, and data integrity to minimize technical debt. \- Technical Leadership: Mentor developer teams, perform code reviews, and provide expert\-level support for complex issues. \- Integration Strategy: Design complex integrations between ServiceNow and third\-party systems like AWS, Azure, or legacy enterprise platforms. \- Strategic Road mapping: Partner with executives to align platform capabilities with long\-term business digital transformation goals. \- Upgrade \& Lifecycle Management: Oversee platform patches, version upgrades, and performance tuning to ensure stability. RequirementsExperience: \- Typically 7\+ years in IT, with 3–5\+ years specifically in ServiceNow development or architecture. Technical Proficiency: \- Expertise in scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules). \- Deep knowledge of modules like ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, and CSM. \- Understanding of Web Services (REST/SOAP) and MID Server architecture. Certifications: Core: \- Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD). Advanced: \- Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA) is often highly preferred for senior roles.
