Opportunity to work in a continuously growing sector The Service Department is responsible for ensuring the proper operation of our customers’ wind farms and guaranteeing maximum turbine performance throughout their entire lifetime. In addition, it ensures that wind turbines operate at full capacity and generate maximum energy for customers. Consequently, this team is essential for maintaining long-term customer loyalty. **Responsibilities:** * In direct collaboration with the Maintenance Supervisor, your main tasks will be: * Inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of wind turbines * Fault and failure identification and correction * Assistance during wind turbine commissioning * Completion and maintenance of specific documentation * Measurement and reporting of key performance indicators and departmental objectives * Strict adherence to all safety standards and procedures. Act as a role model, encourage and recognize safe behaviors, intervene when unsafe acts are observed. Demonstrate a proactive attitude toward identified risks at all times. Provide risk prevention-related recommendations to immediate supervisors. Recognize and promote the application of safe practices in the workplace * Additional administrative tasks and warehouse duties as required **Qualifications:** * Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred; higher vocational education combined with maintenance experience will also be considered * Ability to work at heights and under adverse weather conditions * One year of wind turbine maintenance experience is desirable * English reading proficiency: Ability to read technical manuals in English is required. Spoken or written fluency is not mandatory but will be viewed favorably * We seek candidates who value job stability and are willing to grow within a continuously expanding sector. **Competencies:** * Ability to read, understand, and write basic-level English * Ability to climb ladders from 60 to 125 meters in height * Capacity to lift, push, or carry objects weighing up to 25 kg * Ability to stand, squat, and maintain awkward postures for extended periods * Capacity to hold and manipulate items such as tools and equipment parts, typically involving repetitive motions * Ability to work comfortably in confined spaces and at great heights (above 80 m) * Practical and intellectual capability to participate in and successfully complete all required trainings, including height rescue and technical training * Ability to use short-range radios * Good general health, including vision and color discrimination ability * Capacity to work outdoors under rigorous environmental conditions Ability to work remotely on turbines as part of a team and with minimal supervision APPLICATIONS UNTIL 04/09 We offer an attractive position in a dynamic and international environment.
