**Job Description:** The **Sanitation and Pest Control Manager** is responsible for ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and pest control within the facility, complying with the highest standards of quality, food safety, and current regulations. This role leads the implementation and maintenance of the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS), supervises daily cleaning activities, manages the pest control program, and promotes continuous improvement in processes. Additionally, it collaborates closely with key departments to ensure compliance with strategic objectives, cost optimization, and personnel development, contributing to the company's operational and reputational success. **What are we looking for?** * Bachelor’s degree in **Food Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related fields**. * Preferred specialization or courses in **Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000**. * **3 to 5 years** of experience managing sanitation and pest control programs in the food industry or similar. * Experience in **internal and external audits** (SQF, BRC, FSSC, etc.). * Management of **pest control service providers** and chemicals. * Knowledge of **SSOPs, GMPs, HACCP**, and local/international regulations. * Safe use and handling of **cleaning and disinfecting chemical products**. * Interpretation of **pest reports and trend analysis**. * Knowledge of **regulatory documentation and compliance**. **What will be your key responsibilities?** **1\.****Sanitation Program Management** * Develop, implement, and maintain the facility’s Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS). * Supervise and verify daily cleaning and sanitation of equipment, production areas, and common spaces. * Ensure cleaning procedures follow SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures). * Conduct pre\-operational and post\-sanitation inspections to verify cleaning effectiveness. * Maintain documentation and records in compliance with regulatory and audit requirements. * Develop strategy for continuous improvement of the cleaning and sanitation procedures. * Assure training on chemicals and SSOPs for all the personnel working at the site. **2\.****Pest Control Management** * Oversee the pest control program (in\-house or third\-party service). * Monitor pest control activities and analyze trends from reports and trap inspections. * Ensure corrective actions are taken promptly in case of pest sightings or evidence. * Verify compliance with all local regulations regarding pest management in food facilities. * Establish strategy for pest control. * Assure training and cultural programs for all the personnel at the site. **3\. Cross\-Functional Collaboration:** * Work closely with departments such as engineering, quality assurance, procurement, and sales to ensure alignment and achieve business goals. * Coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery and high\-quality outcomes. **4\. Performance Management:** * Set and communicate clear performance expectations for sanitation and pest control. * Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to team members. * Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. **5\. Budgeting and Cost Control:** * Develop and manage the sanitation and pest control budget, ensuring cost\-effective operations. * Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining or improving quality and delivery performance. **6\. Quality and Compliance:** * Ensure all products or services meet quality standards and customer requirements. * Maintain compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies. **7\.
