We are looking for a Transportation Tracker to support real time fleet movement, manage load data accuracy, and ensure smooth coordination between drivers, customers, and internal teams. This role is ideal for someone highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast paced logistics environment where precision matters **Role Overview** As an Transportation Tracker, you will serve as a real time control point within route operations. Your responsibility is to ensure loads are properly assigned, tracked, updated, and documented while maintaining consistent communication across drivers, brokers, and customers. You will operate within structured SOPs while making fast, sound operational decisions when challenges arise. **What You’ll Be Doing** * Assign and dispatch loads based on driver availability, Hours of Service, and customer requirements * Monitor live fleet movement using GPS and TMS * Track and update ETAs, check calls, timestamps, and delivery milestones in real time * Enter, audit, and maintain accurate load data in Google Sheets and TMS * Communicate continuously with drivers, brokers, and customers regarding status updates * Identify delays, route conflicts, detention risks, or service issues and take proactive action * Escalate operational risks to leadership when necessary * Generate shift based operational reports summarizing load activity and exceptions * Follow dispatch, communication, and escalation SOPs consistently * Maintain clean shift handoffs and organized documentation **What Success Looks Like** * TMS, Google Sheets, and tracking platforms reflect complete and error free data at all times * Scheduled updates are sent on time * Critical loads are monitored closely and handled with urgency from start to finish * Communication is clear, concise, and actionable, both in written updates and verbal escalations * Operational risks and issues are flagged early with solutions, not just problems * Shift handoffs are smooth, complete, and well documented * You become someone the team can depend on during high pressure situations **Who We’re Looking For** * Has experience in logistics, freight brokerage, dispatch, or transportation tracking * Understanding of fleet coordination, load planning, and HOS awareness * Familiar with US geography and US logistics trucking operations (a plus) * Ability to monitor multiple loads and drivers simultaneously * Understands urgency and prioritization in a live dispatch environment * Communicates clearly and professionally via zoom, chat, and email * Minimum 45 WPM typing speed * Can monitor multiple loads at once without losing accuracy * Pays strong attention to detail and uses sound judgment when issues arise * Comfortable operating in high volume communication environments * Follows instructions consistently and values clean execution * Works well with a team and is open to feedback and coaching.
