Coordinate, analyze and organize daily and weekly customer delivery information in appropriate shipment quantities. Verify that all delivery requirements are met and that future demand is communicated appropriately. **Main Responsibilities** * Receive customer demand through BAAN and customer portals. * Keep daily and weekly scheduling control files updated. * Conduct daily physical inventory review with warehouse. * Follow up on material shortages with production and forward schedule to planning. * Monitor future customer requirements with customer service representatives. * Track parts from production lines to prevent stockouts. * Review daily plant and customer accumulated inventories. * Maintain strategic raw material inventory at appropriate levels. * Provide support to PICS ensuring products are shipped and documentation processes are completed to meet daily and weekly customer delivery requirements. * Responsible for obtaining specific daily customer requirements for molding and painting areas. * Prepare daily control files for proper production scheduling. * Lead and coordinate corrective actions when irregularities or emergencies arise. * Required to review customer online systems at specific times. Obtain shipment status information to protect delivery window and minimize division liability for delay charges or downtime by keeping finished product available. * Support inventory control team with inventory changes and accumulations to avoid obsolescence, confirm accurate delivery address information, and assist shipping teams with prototype shipments. * Support PICS supervisor in resolving non-compliance issues; determine and take appropriate corrective action. * Monitor generated delivery schedules to ensure product availability. * Monitor strategic inventories and customer requirements, and inform PICS supervisor of any critical situations. * Responsible for updating changes and launches of new parts together with engineering and systems, as well as reviewing and maintaining updated delivery accumulations to prevent shipment errors. * Monitor all stock levels established in customer online requirement systems and their shipping standards. * Obtain and review customer delivery performance windows, assisting Customer Service in resolving and discussing delivery violations with relevant departments when necessary. * Responsible for implementing and maintaining the 5S system in work areas. **Education and Experience** * Completed degree in engineering or business administration. * At least 1 year of experience in inventory control. * Experience with Kanban and/or Just-in-Time manufacturing systems. * Experience with MRP and MRP II systems. * Ability to hold a conversation in English. * Knowledge of material receiving procedures. **Required Competencies** * Knowledge of Production Planning and Control indicators. * Familiarity with ISO\-TS16949 and ISO\-14000\ standards. * Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Knowledge of material receiving processes. * Strong communication skills. * Teamwork and ability to work under pressure. * Sense of urgency. * Negotiation skills with different departments. **Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:** ---------------------------------- At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
