Contribute to system architecture and technical decisions **Python / Node.js Developer (Remote – Mexico)** **Salary:** $80,000 MXN/month **Location:** 100% Remote (Mexico) **Experience:** 5\+ years **Job Description** We are looking for a skilled **Python / Node.js Developer** to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. You will work on building high\-performance applications, collaborating with cross\-functional teams, and contributing to system architecture and best practices. **Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain backend services using **Python and Node.js** * Build and consume **RESTful APIs** and integrations with external systems * Write clean, scalable, and efficient code * Optimize application performance and ensure high availability * Work with databases to design and manage data models * Implement security and data protection best practices * Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, and stakeholders * Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging * Contribute to system architecture and technical decisions **Requirements** * 5\+ years of experience as a **Backend or Full Stack Developer** * Strong proficiency in **Python** (Django, Flask, or FastAPI) * Strong experience with **Node.js** (Express.js, NestJS, or similar) * Solid knowledge of **JavaScript (ES6\+)** and asynchronous programming * Experience building and consuming **REST APIs** (GraphQL is a plus) * Experience with **databases** (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.) * Familiarity with **Git** and collaborative development workflows * Experience with **cloud platforms** (AWS, GCP, or Azure) * Understanding of **Docker** and CI/CD pipelines * Knowledge of **testing frameworks** and best practices * Strong problem\-solving skills and ability to work independently Job Type: Full\-time Pay: $75,000\.00 \- $80,000\.00 per month Language: * English (Required) Work Location: Remote
