If you seek to develop the category with the customer to maximize sales, define strategies, build shopper knowledge, enhance profitability and market share, and serve as the liaison between the account and other company functions—enabling the development of assortment, pricing, promotion, customer negotiation, and customer development strategies—we are looking for you. Key Responsibilities: Define category strategy aligned with business objectives. Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and category performance. Generate insights on the category and brands. Negotiate with customers based on quantitative data. Manage optimal assortment (product introductions and discontinuations). Monitor KPIs: sales, turnover, customer and brand market share. Coordinate with internal functions (sales, procurement, marketing, logistics) to execute plans. Implement pricing and promotion strategies to increase profitability. Implement in-store visibility strategies to improve shopping experience. Track category projects and propose continuous improvements to sustain growth based on key metrics (sales, average transaction value, purchase frequency, average price, etc.). Successfully and flawlessly execute planograms with customers. Lead your team in managing and directing accounts. About You: Minimum 5 years’ experience in Category Management within consumer goods companies, preferably working with national retail chains Chedraui & La Comer. Education preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering or related field (degree required). Strong knowledge of: planogramming tools (JDA and/or Space Planning), customer information portals, category management (8-step process), advanced Excel, Access, Nielsen, PowerPoint, self-service retailers.
