




Position Summary: Supervise the store's overall operations, serving as a role model for the team by providing direction and feedback to foster an optimal work environment and customer service. Supervise general store operations across all areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, creating an optimal work environment and delivering excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, employee misrecommendation, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and ensuring full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are located in their assigned positions within the store and that physical inventory matches system records, executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities while serving as a role model, ensuring employees provide customer consultation and utilize all tools provided by AutoZone—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic/test equipment—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, thereby also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for improvement to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when identifying opportunities for improvement and training. * Supervise daily adherence by all employees to scheduled working hours and AutoZone’s dress code; ensure respectful, courteous, and professional interactions among team members and with customers, consistently applying AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report each period to identify opportunities for expense control and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of cost-consciousness across all controllable expenditures within the team. * Assign and track responsibilities for area supervisors—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restroom and cafeteria maintenance, sales floor and parking lot upkeep—as well as review daily cash counts for the main register, perform cash sweeps, and conduct register closings for team members under your supervision per AutoZone procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees wear AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle testing, or using in-store test stations, thereby helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of supervisory experience in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability for scheduling AutoZone de México is the leading retailer and distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
