Reporting of irregularities and compliance with security policies **Security Guard** **Job Description:** The security guard is responsible for safeguarding the safety and integrity of assigned personnel, facilities, property, and assets by strictly adhering to established security protocols. Their primary function is to prevent risks, detect incidents, and respond promptly to situations that may compromise security, maintaining professional, ethical, and disciplined conduct at all times. **Key Responsibilities:** Monitor and patrol assigned facilities continuously to prevent illegal activities, damage, or unauthorized access. Control the entry and exit of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and vendors in accordance with established procedures. Conduct periodic patrols and preventive inspections within the assigned area. Identify, report, and document any irregularity, incident, or risk condition. Apply security and emergency response protocols (evacuations, first aid, alarms, etc.). Prepare daily reports and incident logs during their shift. Collaborate with authorities and internal teams as necessary. Comply with internal security policies, codes of conduct, and confidentiality rules. Requirements Minimum education: Completed secondary school (high school diploma preferred). Prior experience in security, surveillance, or similar roles is desirable. Completion of private security courses or certifications is desirable. Observation skills and attention to detail. Ability to react effectively to risk or emergency situations. Effective communication and professional demeanor.
