Following initial orientation, the Material Handler 1 will receive training to perform one or more of the following tasks: storage, preparation, and replenishment of parts. Material Handler responsibilities include: performing material transactions in the MRP system (including timeliness and accuracy of data entry), counting and verifying inventory, and supporting daily production needs in the warehouse. **Responsibilities and Duties:** * Handle, verify, transport, and manage materials quickly, efficiently, and accurately. * Process materials and verify part number, quantity, and lot/serial number (including labeling and certifications). * Follow First-In, First-Out (FIFO) methodology when storing, picking, and replenishing materials. * Prepare and distribute materials for work orders and cover shortages. * Follow specified routes within the production plant to replenish materials. * Use operational software to record data transactions (receipts, transfers, shipments). * Maintain warehouse safety and organization according to 5S principles. * Operate material handling equipment (forklifts and pallet jacks) per safety policy. * Identify and communicate issues disrupting material supply or movement that may impact overall operations in Mexicali. * Comply with material management policies and procedures. * Meet employee training and documentation requirements. **Qualifications** **Skills, Experience, Education, and Training:** * High school diploma. * Basic knowledge of warehousing, material handling, and inventory control. * Prior experience or certification in operating material handling equipment is a plus. * Ability to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in task execution. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus. * Ability to frequently lift heavy materials or equipment. * Requires extensive walking and repetitive physical movements (bending, stooping, lifting objects). * Verbal and written communication skills. **Additional Information** Intuitive is an equal opportunity employer.
