Distribution Supervisor **Position Definition:** Manage distribution center operations and ensure achievement of all key performance indicators (PQVC) through inventory management, effective communication, leadership, safety, and teamwork. **Responsibilities**: * Make operational decisions following standard procedures to achieve service levels for shipping and receiving operations. * Supervise and inspire distribution center staff through training, clear communication of expectations, and recognition of outstanding performance. * Audit standard procedures. * Identify and resolve issues such as inventory management, claims, incident investigations, etc. * Comply with safety standards and procedures, including safety walkthroughs, continuous improvement cards, etc. * Manage various stages of the operational process, from when the dealer prepares the order until material is shipped. * Manage various stages of the operational process, from truck arrival until material is stored in containers and ready for sale. * Drive adherence to standard procedures, best practices, proper application of policies, and workplace values. **Education**: A degree or equivalent experience is required. Basic/intermediate English proficiency is desirable. Expertise in warehouse operations is required. **Desirable**: Knowledge of SAP or similar warehouse systems. **Skills**: *Leadership* * Adapts leadership style to the situation. * Uses positive reinforcement to drive performance. * Effective communication with the team. *Materials Handling and Management* * Supervises transportation processes. * Solves problems through continuous improvement. * Complies with safety procedures for materials handling. *Warehouse Operations* * Manages unloading, unpacking, storage, picking, packing, and loading tasks. * Evaluates employee performance and provides feedback. * Supports initiatives and improvements. *Operational Functions* * Monitors assigned task reports in the system. * Ensures all routes meet scheduled departure times. * Uses real-time inventory software to move material where needed. * Manages resources required for daily operations. **Additional Information:** * This position requires 100% on-site presence in San Luis Potosí. * Working hours are Monday through Saturday. * Availability to work rotating shifts is required. * Relocation assistance is not provided.
