This position is critical to ensuring proper **storage, custody, stowage, and transportation of cargo**, meeting operational timeframes and safety standards. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Operation of **counterbalanced and narrow-aisle forklifts (DC-3)**. * **Loading and unloading** of transport vehicles and containers. * Arrangement, **stowage**, and positioning of cargo in **warehouse racks**. * Handling of **foreign trade cargo**. * Physical inspection of cargo and **reporting of damages**. * Use of **scales** and measuring instruments. * Transportation of cargo between facilities (**transfers**). * Assistance with **manual handling tasks**. * Pre-shift checklists, cleaning, and ensuring proper forklift functionality. * Use of **personal protective equipment (PPE)**. * Compliance with processes, policies, and service timelines. ### **Requirements** * **Education:** Completed high school. * **Experience:** Minimum **2 years** as a forklift operator. * Valid **DC-3 certification** (mandatory): + Counterbalanced forklift. + Narrow-aisle forklift. * Knowledge of: + **Warehouse and logistics**. + Good practices for **cargo stowage and storage**. + **Inventory control**. + **Loading and unloading of cargo**. ### **Skills and Competencies** * Safe operation of **heavy machinery**. * Teamwork. * Organization and planning. * Ability to work under pressure. * Focus on safety and operational order. ### **Work Schedules** **Rotating shifts Monday through Friday** (1-hour lunch break): * 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM * 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM * 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM * 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM * 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM * 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM **2 days off per week** (typically Saturday and Sunday). ### **We Offer** * **Monthly gross salary:****$11,270.16, increasing to $13,637.06 upon permanent placement.** * **Statutory benefits**. * **Initial 3-month contract**. * Option for **permanent employment** with enhanced benefits: + Savings fund: **13%**. + Grocery vouchers: **6%**. + Punctuality bonus: **10%**. * Job stability with a logistics-sector company. **Desired education level:** Upper Secondary Education **Desired experience level:** Mid-level **Departmental function:** Logistics / Transportation **Industry:** Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Warehousing *This vacancy is sourced from the Talenteca.com job board:* *https://www.talenteca.com/anuncio?j_id=6a162e304300003100bd82ce&source=indeed*
