Duties and Responsibilities * Supervise proper food preparation and plating. * Coordinate kitchen operational staff during service. * Verify food quality, taste, and presentation. * Ensure compliance with recipes, portion sizes, and standards. * Place orders and manage ingredient inventory. * Supervise inventory levels, shrinkage, and product rotation. * Train and develop kitchen staff. * Support interviews and performance evaluations of operational staff. * Ensure cleanliness and order across all kitchen areas. * Supervise compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations. * Resolve operational issues during service. * Support the Executive Chef in menu planning and cost control. * Assume the Chef's responsibilities in their absence. Requirements Education * Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Gastronomy, Culinary Arts, or related field. Experience * 1–2 years of professional kitchen experience. * Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience. Knowledge * National and international cuisine. * Hygienic food handling. * Inventory and cost control. * FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and storage practices. * Distintivo H certification (preferred). * Staff management. * Production and service line operations.
