How will you make a difference? As a member of the Operations team in the Manufacturing and Doors area, in the position of Quality Engineer, your main responsibilities will be to lead, coordinate, and maintain Total Quality System improvement activities. This position will report directly to the Quality and QPS Management. What do we want to know about you? The educational requirements for this position are:* High school diploma or Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical or engineering field, with at least 3 years of experience in the respective application. * Knowledge of Quality. * Knowledge of Lean manufacturing. * Knowledge of manufacturing processes. * Knowledge of welding inspection. * English language proficiency sufficient for reading and understanding English-language process instructions and for conducting conversations focused on technical aspects of manufacturing. * Microsoft Office and Oracle. * Teamwork What will your typical day be like?* Lead and coordinate human resource activities focused on quality assurance and/or control to support assigned areas in the production process. * Perform activities related to quality assurance within the Manufacturing and Doors areas, including raw material receiving inspection, as well as inspections before, during, and after the production process, and final product inspection. * Maintain constant communication with Customers and Suppliers to meet or exceed, improve, and maintain expected Total Quality levels. * Conduct analyses to solve problems related to the Manufacturing and Doors areas, and follow up during assignment and closure of various non-conformities. * Participate in the generation, implementation, and monitoring of process improvements with quality assurance. * Generate and manage records related to each project in the Manufacturing and Doors areas. * Qualify and certify personnel assigned to special processes such as welding, painting, and non-destructive testing. * Support various audits related to special processes in the Manufacturing and Doors areas, and provide necessary support during internal and external audits related to the Quality Management System. * Validate processes and/or products for new projects according to the scope of each one. * Collaborate with other departments and engineers to achieve quality objectives. * Control measurement equipment for quality assurance purposes, ensuring these devices are properly calibrated. The job is primarily performed in a combined office and safe work environment, requiring continuous interaction with production areas to ensure understanding of operational requirements, for which basic safety equipment must be used.
