At IMI, you’ll find a supportive, collaborative, and inclusive environment where you can truly thrive. **Job Overview** ===================================== Maintain aluminum and zamak injection molds under optimal operating conditions to produce parts on time and with required quality according to internal guidelines, following established safety procedures and protocols. **Work Environment:** ===================== This is an on-site role. **Key Responsibilities** =========================== * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on casting and die injection molds according to applicable department procedures and documentation for part manufacturing. * Implement improvement processes on molds, such as error-proofing systems (poka\-yoke), model changes, machining parts for molds and support areas, engineering changes within the department's scope, and decision-making. * Participate in root cause analyses, continuous improvement events, and application of LOTO procedures. * Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems for recording completed work. **Critical Competencies for Success** ======================================= * Required education: Technical degree (specializing in Machines and Tools) / Preferably TSU (specializing in Machines and Tools). * Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles. * Preventive maintenance of casting molds and dies. * Corrective maintenance of casting molds and dies. * Fabrication of spare parts for molds and dies. * Support production lines and troubleshoot issues at the machine site. * Diagnose failures in molds and dies. * Electrical diagrams. * Operation and handling of machine tools such as: o Lathe. o Milling machine. o Grinding machine. o EDM machine. * TIG welding application on molds and cavities. * Implementation of 5’S in the work area. * Handling of pneumatic and electric tools. * Handling of hydraulic cylinders and configuration of limit switches in molds. **Health and Safety** ===================== The physical demands described in the Key Duties and Responsibilities section of this job description are necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.
