Junior Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description: **Job Objective:** Ensure that suppliers comply with the company's established quality standards, technical requirements, and regulatory requirements, guaranteeing the conformity of materials and components for production. **Key Responsibilities:** * Evaluate, select, and qualify suppliers according to quality and technical capability criteria. * Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships to ensure continuous improvement. * Conduct quality audits at supplier sites (processes, systems, and products). * Analyze quality issues related to materials and components, implementing corrective and preventive actions. * Manage PPAP, APQP, and other part validation processes. * Monitor supplier performance indicators (MRB, Credit Notes, SCARs, BSC) and process capability (Cpk) for critical characteristics. * Coordinate improvement plans and track corrective actions with suppliers. * Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 or other applicable regulations. * Collaborate with internal departments (Purchasing, Procurement, Engineering, Production) to resolve quality issues. * Participate in new product development projects, ensuring quality from the design phase. **Requirements:** * **Education:** Industrial Engineering or related field; Internal QMS Auditor. * **Language:** Conversational English (intermediate \- advanced). * **Experience:** 1 to 2 years in supplier quality and manufacturing. * **Knowledge:** * ISO 9001 or related standards. * Interpretation of drawings and technical specifications. * Standards: ISO 9001 or related, Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC), VDA 6\.3 (desirable). * Quality tools: 8D, 5 Why’s, Ishikawa, statistical process control (Cp/Cpk, GR\&R), process validations. * Metrology: Calibration, GD\&T interpretation (desirable), drawings, and work instructions. * Use of vision system measurement equipment and basic measuring instruments. * Data analysis: Intermediate Excel, Minitab (or equivalent) for SPC/MSA; Power BI (desirable). * Systems: SAP (desirable), Office.
