Promote the hotel’s public relations through visits to companies, travel agencies, wholesalers, and/or federal, state, or municipal government officials. Maintain up-to-date information; clarify potential questions; or conduct market evaluations and identify new prospects.
Capture necessary daily operational records in Grupo Posadas’ corporate systems. Register daily, weekly, or monthly sales activity results in corporate computer systems according to sales budgets; implement preventive actions to control demand fluctuations in the local market.
Achieve sales quotas and goal targets. Monitor sales activities and the sales team’s efforts to support portfolio expansion and optimal achievement of objectives; also address customer-related variations or issues.
Provide service to local clients who are not fully satisfied with their stay experience. Ensure guest satisfaction to encourage repeat stays at the hotel. Measure performance against established goals.
Submit visit and achievement reports, performing comparative analysis against both historical hotel data and competitor hotel data. Measure performance against established goals.
Prepare quotations for Groups, Agreements, Groups, etc., as viable business options. Actively and promptly participate in proposals to increase the number of potential groups for the hotel.
Promote and disseminate hotel services among local companies to close agreements, sell group business, prospect, and/or conduct market research. Increase market share by achieving an appropriate balance between occupancy and revenue, meeting assigned quotas for groups, agreements, and banquets—thus contributing to business profitability.
