They are Integrity, Teamwork, Passion for Winning, Ownership \& Leadership. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Actively participate in multidisciplinary product development teams (APQP), ensuring validation of new products, line extensions, and electromechanical components in compliance with functional and regulatory requirements. * Coordinate engineering pilot runs, including their planning, execution, and documentation of results. * Manage and coordinate finished product and raw material testing in collaboration with the quality laboratory and in accordance with Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines. * Design and coordinate manufacturing of fixtures (engineering fixtures) required for pilot runs and regular production. * Manage engineering changes (ECO/ECR) in BOMs, drawings, and technical documentation. * Maintain up\-to\-date product technical documentation (motor matrices, technical data, tooling, etc.). * Perform technical analyses of functional performance and structural integrity, including deviations, usage factors, and resistance in subassemblies and final products. * Prepare and evaluate component samples (fields, armatures, and agitators) for life testing and new model development. * Propose improvements and innovations in functionality, ergonomics, energy efficiency, and product design. * Collaborate on implementation of operational initiatives (PEAK PACS). * Manage shipment of engineering samples for internal and external testing. * Analyze and coordinate rework of out\-of\-specification products, ensuring compliance for final assembly. **Education and Experience:** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * Intermediate\-to\-advanced English proficiency. * Minimum 5 years of experience in product development or engineering within the home appliance, discrete manufacturing, or related industries. * Knowledge of Six Sigma (Green Belt certification preferred). * Experience leading end\-to\-end new product development (NPD) projects. * Preferred: experience with AC universal motors (e.g., blenders, mixers). **Knowledge and Skills:** * Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks). * Proficiency in PTC Windchill (product data management). * Proficiency in SAP at the Bill of Materials (BOM) level. * Familiarity with applicable standards: NOM\-016\-ENER, UL 982, IEC 60335 (preferred). * Knowledge of product development methodologies: APQP. * Ability to interpret drawings, technical specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD\&T). * Advanced knowledge of mechanical and electrical motor design (AC). * Application of failure analysis methodologies (DFMEA, PFMEA, 8D, Ishikawa). * Competence in basic metrology and use of measurement instruments. * Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma). * Effective communication: ability to present technical information to various organizational levels. * Time management and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
