Job Summary: We are seeking an engineer to support new vehicle programs and operational improvements through digital manufacturing, simulation, and virtual validation. Key Highlights: 1. Develop digital mock-ups and plant layouts. 2. Perform assembly process validation and ergonomic analysis. 3. Manage technical information and simulate operational capacity. 100% ON-SITE WORK **Work Location:** Toluca, State of Mexico (100% on-site) **Interview Location:** Tlalnepantla de Baz, State of Mexico (100% on-site) **Salary:** $20,000 to $25,000 per month (based on experience) **Job Summary** We are seeking an engineer with experience in **Digital Manufacturing, Process Simulation, and Virtual Validation**, to support new vehicle programs, engineering changes, and operational improvements using digital tools. The position will be responsible for developing digital mock-ups, plant layouts, assembly process validation, ergonomic analysis, capacity simulation, and technical information management—ensuring successful launches and operational efficiency. **Key Responsibilities** ***Digital Manufacturing / Layouts*** * Develop and update plant digital mock-ups. * Design and modify production layouts. * Create workstations and lines using NX Line Designer. * Optimize space, material flow, and installed capacity. ***Process Validation*** * Feasibility analysis of assembly processes. * Review of accessibility, interferences, and sequencing. * Ergonomic and operational safety studies. * Evaluation of manual and automated cycle times. ***Operational Simulation*** * Modeling of production processes and logistics flows. * Analysis of throughput, buffers, and bottlenecks. * Simulation of volume, mix, shift, and resource scenarios. * Evaluation of layout changes via digital simulation. * Generation of reports for decision-making. ***Technical Management*** * Data administration in Teamcenter: * Item creation / deletion * Engineering changes * Document control * CAD versioning ***3D Scanning*** * Dimensional capture using FARO and Artec 3D equipment. * Point cloud processing and comparison against CAD/layout. ***Launch Support*** * Virtual buyoffs. * Scroll reviews. * Technical issue tracking. * Coordination with suppliers and cross-functional teams. **Requirements** ***Education*** Mechatronics, Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field). ***Experience*** * 3+ years in automotive or industrial manufacturing. * Experience in launches, virtual validation, or process engineering. ***Technical Knowledge*** * Siemens NX * NX Line Designer * Teamcenter * Discrete simulation / capacity / throughput * Industrial layouts * Ergonomics * Automotive assembly * 3D scanning * Advanced Excel ***Language*** * Intermediate-to-advanced English preferred. ***Competencies*** * Analytical thinking * Problem solving * Teamwork * Technical communication * Technical leadership * Organization * Sense of urgency ***Alternative Job Titles*** * Digital Manufacturing Engineer * Virtual Manufacturing Engineer * Manufacturing Simulation Engineer * Process Validation Engineer * Launch Digital Engineer “Apply today and be part of high-impact projects in the automotive industry.” Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20,000.00 - $25,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
