This role strategically focuses on continuous process improvement through the use of automation and artificial intelligence tools, contributing to operational efficiency, internal control, and value generation for LATAM operations. **We seek individuals who:** -------------------------- **Build tomorrow**, driving the transformation of financial processes through automation, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence. **Win as a team**, actively collaborating with internal areas (Finance, Audit, Accounting, Technology) to ensure reliable information and aligned processes. **Take ownership**, assuming responsibility for the quality, accuracy, and compliance of accounting processes, proposing impactful improvements. **Responsibilities and Authorities** ------------------------------------ * Execute accounting, closing, financial reporting, and analysis activities within the Controllers area. * Develop financial reports and accounting analyses aligned with local regulations and corporate standards. * Implement process improvements using automation and artificial intelligence tools. * Collaborate with internal and external auditors during reviews, validations, and control testing. * Coordinate initiatives for process simplification, operational efficiency, and financial process automation. * Identify opportunities to improve internal controls, proposing innovative solutions. * Ensure compliance with accounting policies, regulatory requirements, and auditing standards. * Document processes, workflows, and controls to strengthen governance and traceability. * Generate financial insights that support business decision-making. **Requirements and Qualifications** ------------------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Administration, or Engineering. * Experience in accounting activities, financial analysis, and internal control processes. * Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, pivot tables, macros). * Experience with visualization and analytical tools such as Power BI. * Knowledge of process evaluation and improvement (MS Visio or other tools preferred). * Experience working under local and corporate accounting standards. * Intermediate-to-advanced English proficiency. **Desired Technical Experience** -------------------------------- * Experience in the insurance sector or financial services. * Familiarity with US GAAP and local regulatory standards (STAT). * Experience in automation initiatives, continuous improvement, or Business Intelligence. * Training or certifications in analytics or BI tools. **Interpersonal Profile** ------------------------ * Analytical thinking and results orientation. * Proactivity and capacity for continuous improvement. * Autonomy and self-management capability. * Effective communication with business and technical teams. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments. * Focus on quality, accuracy, and compliance. **Specific Requirements for Internal Employees:** ------------------------------------------------------- * Minimum of 12 months in your current position. * Inform your leader prior to applying. * Send a confirmation email. * Do not participate in two or more recruitment processes simultaneously.
