**Purpose or Mission of the Role**
------------------------------
Execute, analyze, and strengthen accounting and financial reporting processes within the Controllers area, ensuring the integrity of financial information and compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
This role strategically focuses on continuous process improvement through the use of automation and artificial intelligence tools, contributing to operational efficiency, internal control, and value generation for LATAM operations.

**Responsibilities and Authorities**
------------------------------------
* Execute accounting, closing, financial reporting, and analysis activities within the Controllers area.
* Develop financial reports and accounting analyses aligned with local regulations and corporate standards.
* Implement process improvements using automation and artificial intelligence tools.
* Collaborate with internal and external auditors during reviews, validations, and control testing.
* Coordinate initiatives for process simplification, operational efficiency, and financial process automation.
* Identify opportunities to improve internal controls, proposing innovative solutions.
* Ensure compliance with accounting policies, regulatory requirements, and auditing standards.
* Document processes, workflows, and controls to strengthen governance and traceability.
* Generate financial insights that support business decision-making.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
-------------------------------
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Administration, or Engineering.
* Experience in accounting activities, financial analysis, and internal control processes.
* Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, pivot tables, macros).
* Experience with visualization and analytical tools such as Power BI.
* Knowledge of process evaluation and improvement (MS Visio or other tools preferred).
* Experience working under local and corporate accounting standards.
* Intermediate-to-advanced English proficiency.
**Desired Technical Experience**
--------------------------------
* Experience in the insurance sector or financial services.
* Familiarity with US GAAP and local regulatory standards (STAT).
* Experience in automation initiatives, continuous improvement, or Business Intelligence.
* Training or certifications in analytics or BI tools.
