Develops appropriate solutions to customer problems Involves the completion of administrative tasks and coordination relating to the front\-line operation which may include data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities , despatch activities and local customer service. While operational tasks may be part of these roles, the majority of time is spent on office\-based activities. General Job Description: Advise and offer the full range of products and services to customers to achieve the Organization’s sales objectives, as well as to develop frequent and credit customers. * Performs a variety of customer service, administrative, and office tasks requiring direct or indirect interaction with customers. * Assists customers with package tracking, answers questions regarding FedEx Express (FEC) products and counter or telephone sales services. * Verifies packages to ensure proper labeling, legality of contents—including weight and dimensions—appropriate packaging, insured value, special handling requirements for hazardous materials, and compliance with destination customs documentation requirements. * Supports budget adherence, revenue/expenditure management, and helps optimize branch profitability through efficient resource utilization. * Is responsible for opening and closing the branch, maintains a clean work area, inspects furniture and work materials, and respects customer service time standards. * Identifies new customers or additional business opportunities and offers the most suitable services and solutions; opens new accounts, secures additional shipments, and presents sales opportunities. * Ensures an excellent customer experience by developing and delivering appropriate solutions to diverse customer issues. * Follows up on commercial and administrative processes, communicating with relevant departments. Responsible for safeguarding company values and preventing deviations, shortages, and improper handling in the WSC. * Requests necessary supplies for daily shipment documentation and packaging. * These are the primary responsibilities performed with the greatest importance or frequency Minimum Requirements: Minimum Education Level: * Completed high school diploma or equivalent. * Language: Proficiency in English. Minimum Experience: * Two (2\) years of experience in sales and/or face-to-face customer service. * Demonstrates solid knowledge in handling cash and physical assets. * Prior experience at FedEx SCS Warehouse with strong operational knowledge and understanding of key customer requirements. Minimum Required Skills: * Ability to lift 34 kg and maneuver packages weighing up to 68 kg using appropriate equipment. * Accuracy and attention to detail. * Planning and organizational skills. * Interpersonal skills. * Problem-solving ability. * Ability to determine and coordinate tasks for oneself and others. * Strong interpretation skills with experience translating specific customer instructions into feasible requirements. * Proficiency in using technological tools, e.g., scanners/printers/intranet, including basic maintenance tasks. * Solid general office skills, including typing, filing, and computer literacy. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Clear and articulate voice. * Clean and neat appearance.
