Collaboration throughout the entire garment manufacturing process. **JOIN OUR TEAM AS A TEXTILE PATTERN MAKER** You will be responsible for designing, developing, and adjusting base patterns used for garment manufacturing, ensuring proper fit, functionality, and production viability. **Job Objective** Transform designs or sketches into precise technical patterns, optimizing material usage and ensuring garments meet quality, sizing, and production standards. **Main Responsibilities** Interpret technical specifications, sketches, or designs from the design department. Develop base patterns (manual or digital). Perform size grading. Adjust patterns based on fitting tests. Prepare production templates. Coordinate with cutting, manufacturing, and design departments. Optimize fabric consumption (tracing efficiency). Validate samples and prototypes. Identify and correct pattern-making or manufacturing defects. Maintain up-to-date technical documentation. Technical Knowledge Flat pattern making and/or draping. Size grading. Garment manufacturing (entire process). Types of fabrics and material behavior. Reading technical specifications. Digital pattern-making systems (Gerber, Lectra, Optitex, or others). Cutting and assembly processes. Quality control in garment manufacturing. **Skills** Attention to detail (critical in this role). Technical and logical thinking. Analytical ability and problem-solving skills. Effective communication with design and production teams. Organization and time management. Adaptability to design changes. **Experience** 2–5 years of pattern-making experience in the textile or garment industry. Experience in sample development and production. Experience with pattern-making software is desirable. Academic Qualifications Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Garment Industry, or related field. Performance Indicators (KPIs) Garment fitting accuracy. Reduction of rework. Fabric consumption efficiency. Pattern development time.
