Design-Related: * Review quality requirements for new product and/or process introductions and transfers. * Request product or process engineering changes and implement relevant tasks in your area related to approved engineering changes—either temporary or permanent (e.g., updating inspection plans, control plans, test plans, work instructions, manufacturing standards). Supplier-Related: * Create, update, and maintain Raw Material Inspection Plans. * Supervise technical and operational personnel responsible for inspection and testing of products supplied by vendors. * Collect and maintain inspection and test records for products supplied by vendors. * Administer the reduced inspection program (e.g., DTS – dock\-to\-stock, skip lot, sampling plans). * Administer the NCR (non\-conforming reports) process, including identification, segregation, evaluation, disposition, and immediate actions—including RTV (return to vendor)—applied to non\-conforming products supplied by vendors. * Administer the supplier complaint generation program, including initial communication and necessary follow\-up to ensure the issue is contained, analyzed, and permanently corrected. * Support the review and approval of vendor requests for changes or deviations. * Administer the supplier quality measurement process. Manufacturing-Related: * Actively participate in—and may lead—continuous improvement projects (e.g., IMPACTS, VAVE, Lean). * Supervise technical and operational personnel responsible for inspection and testing of products and processes. * Collect and maintain inspection and test records for products during and at the end of the process. * Create, update, and maintain documentation defining methods and criteria for inspection and test operations. * Administer the FAI (first\-article inspection) process within your area of responsibility. * Administer the NCR (non\-conforming reports) process within your area of responsibility, including identification, segregation, evaluation, disposition, and immediate actions applied to non\-conforming products generated in the process. * Audit production products and processes, including special processes. * Administer the product and process quality measurement process under your area of responsibility (e.g., CoPQ, scrap, FPY, Cpk). * Administer the Quality Alert program. Customer-Related: * Complete customer quality requirement reviews (contract reviews and SQA – Supplier Quality Agreements). * Coordinate the CSI (customer source inspection) process. * Support coordination of customer audits and visits. * Administer the process for receiving, dispositioning, and analyzing customer-returned product failures. * Coordinate investigations of customer complaints and define root causes and appropriate corrective actions. Management System-Related: * Audit processes and systems against applicable Quality Management Standards. * Administer the calibration process for measurement and test equipment. * Administer documented information control—including creation, change, approval, distribution, and obsolescence. * Support coordination of regulatory body or certification body audits. * Lead and coordinate cross\-departmental problem resolution processes (8D) related to customer complaints. * Administer the staff training and certification program (e.g., IPC, training matrix). * Work on issues of varying scope where data analysis requires in\-depth evaluation of variable factors. * Independently determine and develop solution approaches. * Contribute to execution of specific projects or programs. **Requirements** **Knowledge, Skills, and Technical Competencies:** **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field. * More than 5 years of equivalent demonstrated experience in related disciplines. **Experience:** * More than 5 years in industrial manufacturing environments. * Experience with Quantitative Methods and Tools (e.g., SPC, Process Capability, Statistical Inference, Design of Experiments). * Experience with Product and Process Design (e.g., APQP, PPAP, CTQ, Technical Drawings and Specifications, Verification/Validation, Reliability). * Experience with Product and Process Control (e.g., Traceability, MRB, Sampling, Measurement Equipment, MSA, Metrology, NDT). * Experience with Continuous Improvement activities (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, RCA, 8D). * Experience with ISO9001, AS9100, ISO13485, 21CFR820\). * Experience with electrical testing (e.g., continuity, resistance, radio frequency, capacitance) (desirable). * Experience with GD\&T and SPC. **Language:** * Advanced English (80%) **Knowledge and Competencies:** * Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g., AS9100, ISO13485, ISO9001, 21CFR820\). * Knowledge of Risk Management (e.g., SWOT, FMEA, FRACAS). * Knowledge of industrial application software (e.g., ERP, PDM, CRM, EQMS, MiniTab). * Knowledge of quality tools. * IPC standard certification (e.g., IPC\-A\-610, IPC/WHMA\-A\-620, IPC\-JTD\-001\). (preferred) * Lean Green Belt/Black Belt certification.
