Job Objective Design, develop, and optimize packaging solutions for office furniture that ensure product protection, logistical efficiency, and cost reduction, while complying with quality and sustainability standards. Responsibilities * Design packaging for furniture (chairs, desks, filing cabinets, etc.), considering strength, ergonomics, and ease of assembly. * Conduct packaging tests (drop, vibration, compression) to validate performance. * Optimize material usage (corrugated cardboard, foam, plastic, etc.) to reduce costs and waste. * Collaborate with design, production, and logistics departments to improve processes. * Document technical specifications and packaging standards. * Manage packaging material suppliers. * Implement continuous improvements focused on sustainability and reduction of environmental footprint. Requirements * Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field. * 2–5 years of experience in packaging design (preferably in furniture or bulky products). * Knowledge of packaging materials and ISTA testing standards. * Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar). * Understanding of manufacturing and logistics processes. * Intermediate English (preferred).
