Preventive maintenance on hardware and circuit boards **Job Objective:** Perform basic diagnostics and repairs of electronic equipment, ensuring optimal component functionality through the use of measurement tools and soldering techniques. **Main Responsibilities** * **Diagnosis:** Identify common faults in circuits and components. * **Repair:** Replace components, perform soldering, and clean equipment. * **Testing:** Use multimeter and oscilloscope to verify voltages. * **Maintenance:** Perform preventive cleaning on hardware and circuit boards. * **Reporting:** Document initial and final status of each equipment unit. **Technical Requirements** * **Education:** Secondary-level technician, intern, or recent graduate in Electronics. * **Soldering:** Basic proficiency with soldering iron and hot air station. * **Reading:** Ability to interpret schematic diagrams and manuals. * **Components:** Recognition of resistors, capacitors, diodes, and integrated circuits. * **Fault Detection:** Knowledge of current path tracing. **Soft Skills** * **Attention to Detail:** To handle small components without damaging them. * **Technical Curiosity:** Consistent willingness to learn new technologies. * **Organization:** Maintain a tidy workspace and well-organized tools. * **Patience:** Essential for meticulous diagnostic processes. **Success Criteria (KPIs)** * **Effectiveness:** Percentage of equipment successfully repaired without rework. * **Timeliness:** Adherence to agreed delivery deadlines. * **Carefulness:** Zero collateral damage to equipment during intervention.
