We are seeking to hire a Data Developer specialized in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with extensive experience in BigQuery and solid SQL knowledge. The selected candidate will be responsible for query optimizations and must have a deep understanding of how these optimizations impact platform costs. Additionally, they will lead a team of junior developers, supervise their tasks, and provide training. Job Responsibilities * Perform query optimizations in BigQuery to improve performance and efficiency. * Analyze and understand how these optimizations affect platform costs, aiming to maximize cost-benefit ratio. * Lead and supervise a team of junior developers, providing guidance, support, and training. * Collaborate with other teams to design and develop efficient data architectures on GCP. * Identify opportunities for improvement in existing processes and systems, proposing innovative solutions. * Participate in the design and implementation of robust and scalable data pipelines. * Conduct thorough testing to ensure the quality and accuracy of results obtained. * Generate technical documentation and operational manuals to facilitate understanding and use of developed processes. Job Requirements * Solid experience using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery. * Extensive SQL knowledge and advanced query optimization skills. * Prior experience leading teams and ability to supervise and train junior developers. * Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban for efficient project management. * Ability to analyze and understand how query optimizations affect costs on the GCP platform. * Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with other teams. * Problem-solving orientation and proactive mindset. * University degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field (desirable).
