




ALTEN Mexico, a leading engineering and technology consulting company, is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to join our talented team. In this position, you will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of electronic circuits and systems, as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the quality and functionality of final products. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to projects with global impact. **Responsibilities:** * Testing and verification of electronic components, providing engineering judgment on pass/fail criteria based on electronic theory. * Applying structured problem-solving techniques to lead resolution of issues across various topics, e.g., component evaluation and validation, design integrity, configuration analysis, and root cause analysis. * Documenting and maintaining Parts Evaluation Reports for verified components. * Setting up test environments and deploying software tools to communicate with Automotive Head Units via CAN and Serial protocols. * Preparing and maintaining specifications, schematics, bills of materials (BOM), and related documentation throughout development. * Troubleshooting and debugging hardware (HW) using a variety of industry-standard or internally developed tools. * Providing input for estimating test execution time, considering use of oscilloscopes, thermal cameras, electronic loads, audio amplifiers, and communication protocol decoding (UART, CAN, SPI). * Performing circuit design and analysis, simulation, DFMEA, and WCCA to ensure design compliance with requirements. * Providing post-SOP (Start of Production) support, assisting in troubleshooting high-volume warranty returns and B&A issues. * Troubleshooting and debugging hardware (HW) using a variety of industry-standard or internally developed tools. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. * Recent graduate with relevant internship experience up to 1 year of industry experience. * Solid knowledge of analog and digital circuits. * Experience in validation testing and failure analysis (FMEA). * Ability to read and create circuit diagrams and electrical schematics. * Project management and teamwork skills. * Intermediate or advanced English preferred, for technical reading and communication. * Proactive attitude and ability to solve complex problems. **Benefits:** * Base salary * Major Medical Expense Insurance (includes dental and vision plan) * 15-day bonus * 25% vacation bonus * 12 days of vacation (starting from the first year) * Social Security * PTU/Profit Sharing * Biweekly food vouchers
