Job Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective tasks on hospital infrastructure, ensuring optimal operation of facilities and equipment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive maintenance of hospital infrastructure and equipment 2. Control of preventive and corrective maintenance 3. Detection and correction of failures in critical facilities At CIE/CREA/CREAMEDIC, requesting medical certificates confirming non-pregnancy or human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) status as a requirement for hiring or continued employment is strictly prohibited. Position Sought: HOSPITAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (Temporary) **REQUIREMENTS**: Maintenance Technician, Electrician, Industrial Technician / Incomplete Degree Flexible working hours (mandatory) **KNOWLEDGE** Infrastructure maintenance Hydraulic and sanitary installations Electrical supply Carpentry, joinery, and general repairs Medical gases and oxygen **ACTIVITIES:** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on infrastructure, hydrosanitary systems, and electrical systems according to a scheduled program, including corrections to doors, locks, partitions, ramps, structures, installation of signage, as well as repairing water leaks, conducting general inspections of sinks and washbasins, pipes and electrical panels, patching, lamp replacement, cutting, to ensure proper functioning and operation of the hospital. Maintain control over preventive and corrective maintenance of medical gas, electromechanical, voice, and data equipment based on supplier programs and by addressing reported equipment failures, to ensure proper functioning and operation of such equipment. Track incidents generated via tickets from the operational area, maintaining logs and photographic evidence to support and administer completed work. Conduct daily rounds across critical areas and equipment to identify failures and incidents, reporting them to the operations department and, where applicable, correcting faults to sustain hospital operations. Monitor on-site receipt of materials per purchase requisition to carry out requested repairs.
