For over 10 years, we’ve made a difference at the base of the economic pyramid, providing opportunities to those who need them most. ***We’re still growing!***E***xploring candidates for a Software Engineer to join our team*** **What is the primary objective of this role?** Design, develop, and implement backend-focused software solutions integrating Artificial Intelligence capabilities—ensuring robust, scalable services built primarily with C\#/.NET and Azure. This role aims to apply AI practically in real-world products—including integrations, agents, and LLM- and RAG-based solutions—contributing to the development of the “Ask Amparo” project, with strong emphasis on technical quality, implementation efficiency, and value delivery within constrained resources and timelines. Best of all, this role can be based in Mexico, Peru, or any other LATAM country. **What do we require for a strong match?** * 3+ years of software development experience with C\#/.NET * Experience working with Cosmos DB. * Experience implementing RAG. * Functional knowledge of applied AI: agents, integrations, prompt engineering, LLM APIs. * Solid software engineering fundamentals (OOP, inheritance, composition, SOLID principles). * Best practices: clean code, testing, code reviews, version control (Git). * Experience shipping software to production (CI/CD, Docker, Azure). **How could you add extra value? (Desirable criteria)** * Backend Developer profile (strong preference). * Experience with or familiarity with Azure. * Experience developing conversational bots (voice or text). * Knowledge of ElevenLabs. * Scripting knowledge with Python. * Frontend: React or Angular. **What will your key responsibilities be?** * Implement AI solutions in real applications, integrating LLMs, agents, and/or approaches such as RAG according to product needs. * Connect AI models with backend services and information sources to enable intelligent functionality. * Participate in building conversational bots (voice or text) when required. * Design and develop robust backend services using C\# and .NET as the primary stack. * Build and maintain scalable APIs and services supporting product functionality. * Work with databases such as Cosmos DB and other components of the technical ecosystem. * Participate in integration, deployment, and maintenance of solutions in production environments. * Ensure AI implementations function correctly within the system and meet business requirements. * Collaborate closely with the product team and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into implementable solutions. * Contribute to defining technically viable solutions, prioritizing execution efficiency and speed. * Validate implemented solutions and propose technical improvements. * Ensure AI integrations are functional, maintainable, and aligned with the product’s objectives. **Let’s talk—and discover our benefits!**
