You’ll work at the heart of our products, designing, building, and maintaining the APIs and services that power our platforms—collaborating directly with frontend and product teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions. **Key Responsibilities** * **Design and develop robust, scalable RESTful APIs** using Node.js and the Nest.js framework. (Experience with microservices is a strong plus.) * **Model, implement, and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas**, using TypeORM as the primary ORM tool. * **Deploy and manage cloud-based services on AWS**, primarily using EC2 for compute, S3 for storage, and RDS for databases. * **Collaborate closely with the Frontend team** (Next.js, React) to ensure seamless integration of new features. * **Maintain code quality** through active code reviews (GitHub Pull Requests) and promotion of best development practices. * **Proactively contribute ideas** to continuously improve team architecture, processes, and tools. **Your Ideal Profile (Essential Requirements)** * **Experience:** Minimum 3 years of proven backend development experience with Node.js, or as a Full Stack Developer with a strong backend focus. * **Backend Technologies:** Proficiency in **Node.js** and its ecosystem, with solid hands-on experience in **Nest.js**. * **Databases:** Advanced experience with **PostgreSQL**, and expert-level proficiency with **TypeORM**. * **Version Control:** Full fluency in **Git and GitHub**, enabling effective collaborative workflows. * **Languages:** Ability to read and understand technical documentation in **English**. * **Attitude:** Proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with genuine passion for continuous learning and teamwork. **Bonus Points (Desirable Skills)** * **Cloud:** Prior experience deploying and maintaining applications on **AWS (EC2, S3, RDS)**. * **Frontend:** Knowledge of **Next.js (v15+), React, and TypeScript**.
