Collaboration in resolving technical issues and developing solutions. **Job Objective** Manufacture, adjust, repair, and maintain tools, fixtures, and mechanical components through precise operation of machine tools, ensuring dimensional accuracy of parts, uninterrupted equipment operation, and compliance with plant technical and safety standards. **Primary Responsibilities** * Operate machine tools—including lathe, milling machine, and surface grinder—for manufacturing and repairing mechanical parts. * Interpret mechanical drawings, tolerances, technical specifications, and dimensional requirements. * Measure and verify part accuracy using instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment. * Select appropriate materials (steels, alloys, industrial plastics, etc.) based on the required tool or component type. * Perform adjustments, modifications, and grinding as needed for production or maintenance purposes. * Ensure proper use of cutting tools and select appropriate types according to the operation (drills, inserts, end mills, chisels, etc.). * Maintain machine tools in optimal condition through cleaning, lubrication, and routine inspections. * Comply with safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements during machine operation. * Document work performed, progress, and completed parts to ensure traceability. * Collaborate with departments such as engineering, maintenance, and production to resolve technical problems or develop solutions. **Job Requirements Education** * Completed technical high school diploma (preferably in machine tools, industrial mechanics, maintenance, or related field). **Experience** * **Minimum 3 years of experience** operating machine tools in industrial environments or mechanical workshops. **Competencies** * Proficiency in lathe operation. * Proficiency in milling machine and surface grinder operation. * Ability to interpret and read mechanical drawings. * Proficient use of micrometer, caliper, and other precision measuring instruments. * Knowledge of materials (steels, alloys, hardness properties). * Knowledge of cutting tools and their applications. * Ability to hold tight tolerances and achieve high-precision finishes. * Attention to detail and accuracy. * Responsibility and reliability. * Technical problem-solving ability. * Teamwork with operational and engineering departments. * Organization and discipline in handling tools and materials.
