Position Identification** · **Position Title:** Telecommunications Installation Technician · **Department/Division:** Operations / Telecommunications · **Level:** Technical – Crew Leader · **Location:** Office in CDMX, Álvaro Obregón (with willingness to travel) · **Reports To:** Operations Supervisor · **Supervises:** Technicians and installers (2–4 people) · **Working Hours:** Monday to Saturday, 8:00–17:00 **Education:** Technical degree in Telecommunications, Electricity, Electronics, or related field (Bachelor’s degree or Engineering preferred). **Experience:** Minimum 3 years in telecommunications infrastructure installation and crew leadership. **Availability & Commitment:** Willingness to work continuously and stably, with strong long-term retention commitment. **II. General Purpose of the Position** Coordinate, supervise, and execute installation, maintenance, and repair activities for telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring compliance with technical, quality, and safety standards, as well as timely delivery of assigned projects—contributing to customer satisfaction and organizational operational efficiency. **II. Key Activities** 1\. Plan daily field activities for the crew. 2\. Assign tasks and supervise the technical team. 3\. Execute and validate installations and maintenance per blueprints and regulations. 4\. Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and vehicles. 5\. Report progress, incidents, and requirements to the supervisor. 6\. Promote and monitor compliance with safety regulations. 7\. Train and guide less-experienced personnel. 8\. Document work evidence (logs, photos, forms). 9\. Maintain communication with customers and internal departments. **IV. Technical Requirements** **Technical Knowledge:** · Fiber optic splicing and testing (OTDR, power meter). · Structured cabling. · Electrical circuit installation. · Conduit, piping, cable trays, cablofil, etc. · Installation of video surveillance cameras. · Installation and configuration of WiFi antennas from various brands. · IP telephony and networking fundamentals. · Blueprint and technical standard interpretation. **Other Requirements:** · Valid driver’s license (highway and urban driving). · Willingness to travel.
