Job Description: NOC (Network Operations Center) Assistant Job Objective: Monitor, manage, and maintain the company’s network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, promptly resolve incidents, and deliver specialized technical support to guarantee operational continuity and customer satisfaction. Main Responsibilities: \- Network Monitoring and Management Monitor real-time network status using specialized monitoring tools. Identify, diagnose, and resolve network-related issues, including hardware, software, and connectivity failures. \- Configuration and Provisioning Remotely or on-site configure network equipment such as routers, ONTs, ONUs, and access points. \- Technical Support Provide remote technical support to installation technicians during field maintenance or installations. Resolve incidents related to logical services, service outages, and other technical issues. \- Problem and Escalation Management Log and manage incident tickets, ensuring resolution within SLA-defined timeframes. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team, providing all necessary technical information. \- Network Updates and Maintenance Perform firmware updates, configuration changes, and security patches on network equipment. Ensure accurate documentation of configurations and network changes. \- Reporting and Tracking Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on incidents, resolution times, and network status. Propose continuous improvements for network infrastructure stability and performance. Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Systems, Electronics, or related field. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in monitoring, managing, and supporting telecommunications networks. Technical Knowledge: Networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.). Configuration of Mikrotik equipment (optional), Vsol, Fiberhome, and others. Monitoring tools. Basic knowledge of fiber optics, microwave, and related technologies. Hardware, software, and connectivity troubleshooting and resolution. Skills: Ability to work under pressure in critical environments. Problem-solving orientation and attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Flexible working hours, weekend availability.
