Collaboration on continuous improvement initiatives Job Description and Activity Details * Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation equipment used in the production line for connectors, modular jacks, hermetic connectors, among others. * Diagnose failures in equipment (vision systems, robots, electrical control systems) and perform corrective maintenance to restore operation. * Carry out mechanical adjustments, calibrations, and alignments as required, ensuring product tolerances and specifications. * Maintain maintenance records: work orders, logbooks, equipment history, spare parts used, downtime durations, among others. * Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives, proposing modifications to reduce failures, optimize efficiency, lower maintenance costs, and extend asset life. * Manage and monitor critical spare parts, reporting procurement needs or critical stock levels in advance to prevent delays due to part shortages. Experience and Requirements * Basic/intermediate knowledge of vision systems (KEYENCE CV-X Series, COGNEX, and Sensopart). * Intermediate/advanced knowledge of electrical control systems. * Completed technical degree or incomplete university degree. * Minimum 2–3 years of experience maintaining automated machinery, preferably in electronic manufacturing, connector manufacturing, or high-precision industries. * Intermediate experience with automation equipment, PLCs, and pneumatic systems. * Experience using electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools. * Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings. * Solid knowledge of electricity (medium/low voltage), electric motors, frequency inverters, and servo motors. * Ability to read technical manuals and control diagrams. * Analytical ability for failure diagnosis and problem solving. * Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks. * Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to coordinate across departments (Production, Quality, Engineering). * Results-oriented and proactive. * Flexible availability regarding working hours. * Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Knowledge of quality standards (ISO, IPC, or other relevant standards) is a plus.
