




Position Summary: Support export and import activities, complete documentation, and review customs procedures—ideal for students. Key Highlights: 1. Support in key export and import activities. 2. Proficiency in Office suite, Millennium Customs, and SAP. 3. Basic knowledge of Mexican customs law. Description and details of responsibilities * Provide continuous support for export and import activities required for production; deliver documents to drivers; prepare export manifests; affix packing lists with serial numbers inside the trailer at the rear near the doors; verify that the 17-point CTPAT inspection is conducted on export trucks; confirm that customs seal numbers on paperwork match the seals applied to the container; seal the container with the seals assigned to that export shipment. * Complete exit passes and delivery notes for material shipments. * Assist by delivering exit passes to security guards at various plant checkpoints for material shipments to domestic and/or foreign suppliers or recyclers. * Review archived export documentation maintained by the customs department. * Assist in completing forms for returns to suppliers. Experience and Requirements Undergraduate student majoring in International Trade and Customs. * Computer literacy and proficiency in Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. * Experience using Millennium Customs and SAP. * Basic understanding of Mexican customs law related to raw material imports and finished product exports.
