Job Summary Responsibilities: 1) Achieve or exceed customer(s) requirements by using in an efficient manner all the resources that report to him. (People & equipment) 2) Achieve or exceed operational targets, such as scrap, OTD, productivity & quality, without exceeding the expected manufacturing costs. 3) Respond in a timely manner to any customer complaint or IAR issued to his area. He must lead a thorough investigation for every complaint to identify root causes & prevent recurrence of the problems. 4) Optimize the usage of overtime. 5) Collaborate with PLM to identify ways to increase the account's margin. 6) Ensure that personnel reporting to him comply with the guidelines & procedures required by ISO 9000, TL 9000 & ISO 14000 systems. 7) Reduce turnover within his team (hourly & non-hourly personnel). 8) Foster a continuous improvement culture within his team. Additionally, he is responsible for maintaining best practices that provide competitive advantages. 9) Define ramp-up plans, when needed, and meet such plans in a timely manner. Technical Knowledge: 1) Medium-level experience & understanding of passive fiber optic and/or copper telecommunications products 2) Comprehensive understanding of quality systems 3) Extensive experience in problem solving, continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and quality control. 4) Extensive experience in production matters, particularly sufficient experience managing direct personnel. 5) English Level B2. Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in any operational area, such as production, quality, planning, or materials. Education: Engineering degree.
