Position Summary: Deliver theoretical and practical knowledge about the study of insects, developing students' observational skills, scientific analysis abilities, and biological research competencies. Guide students in the analysis of cadaveric fauna and interpretation of results. **Academic Profile** * Bachelor's degree in Biology, Natural Sciences, Biotechnology, Forensic Sciences, or related fields. * Specialization, diploma, or proven experience in Entomology. * Teaching and/or expert experience is desirable. Position Objective: Deliver theoretical and practical knowledge related to the study of insects, fostering students' observational skills, scientific analysis abilities, and biological research competencies. **Required Knowledge** * Insect classification and taxonomy. * Insect anatomy and physiology. * Biological life cycles and reproduction. * Ecology and biodiversity. * Specimen collection and preservation methods. * Basic laboratory handling and microscopy. * Scientific research and fieldwork. **Main Responsibilities** * Deliver theoretical and practical classes in forensic entomology. * Design practical exercises for identification, collection, and analysis of forensic insects. * Develop teaching plans, assessments, and academic materials. * Teach techniques for preservation and processing of biological samples. * Guide students in the analysis of cadaveric fauna and interpretation of results. * Promote biosafety protocols and proper sample handling. * Monitor students' academic performance. Salary: $130.00 - $140.00 per hour Work Location: On-site employment
