Learn more at www.averydennison.com. **Job Description** Located at our Avery Dennison Smartrac plant in Querétaro and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. The selected candidate will have professional development as part of a new team, in a growing industry candidate. The objective of the Facilities and Maintenance team is, through modern maintenance systems, to maintain "normal operation" of plant operations and continuously improve equipment availability/reliability to manufacture quality products safely and profitably. This team will also be responsible for planning and executing CAPEX, including an ambitious Master Plan for capacity expansion. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Maintain knowledge and good understanding of facilities/equipment and their conditions. * Responsible for ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting based on work orders. * Monitor facilities/equipment to ensure optimal setup, work with Quality to maintain optimal environmental conditions. * Monitor facilities/equipment to ensure optimal operation, work with Production to schedule planned downtime. * Monitor facilities/equipment to ensure safe operation, work with EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) to mitigate risks and prevent accidents. * Monitor contractor activities. * Support emergency response for safety and fire incidents. * Support projects, installation and commissioning of equipment. * Follow internal work regulations and safety requirements established by the company. * Comply with and promote Avery Dennison's ethics and values policy. * Apply and promote 5S practices in their work area. * If part of any brigade and/or company committee, must fulfill corresponding activities. * Availability to work rotational shifts. **Requirements** * High school diploma, TSU, or related discipline. * Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or technical field, preferably in Automotive or Healthcare industries. * Basic English knowledge. * Experience in electrical substations, compressors, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), and FPS (fire protection systems). * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. **Additional Information** At Avery Dennison we do what we love and love what we do, and we look forward to receiving your application.
