Determine how food should be presented and design decorative food displays. Ensure portion sizes, food arrangement, and decoration meet standards. Monitor food production quantities. Inform Food and Beverage service staff about rejected items and special menu offerings. Prepare special meals or substitute items. Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks. Provide cooks with necessary supplies. Monitor kitchen inventory and food stock levels. Maintain kitchen records to comply with food safety and food product programs. Guarantee food quality and notify the manager if any item fails to meet specifications. Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, coaching, discipline, motivation, and development of employees. Comply with all company safety and policy procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the manager; and complete required safety training and certifications. Ensure uniforms and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; and protect company assets. Address guest service needs. Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships; support the team in achieving common goals; listen and respond appropriately to concerns raised by fellow employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Reach above shoulder height and below knee level, including bending, twisting, turning, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS Education: Diploma from a technical, trade, or vocational school. Relevant Work Experience: 4 to 6 years of related work experience. Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
