Determine how food should be presented and design decorative food displays. Ensure portion sizes, food arrangement, and decoration meet standards. Monitor food preparation quantities. Inform Food and Beverage service staff about rejected items and special menu offerings. Prepare special meals or substitute items. Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks. Provide cooks with necessary supplies. Monitor kitchen inventory and food stock. Maintain kitchen records to comply with food safety and food product safety programs. Ensure food quality and notify management of any non\-conforming items. Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, coaching, discipline, motivation, and employee development. Comply with all company safety and operational policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management; and complete required safety training and certifications. Ensure uniforms and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; and protect company assets. Address guest service needs. Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Foster and maintain positive working relationships; support team efforts to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to concerns raised by fellow employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Reach above shoulder height and below knee level, including bending, twisting, turning, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Diploma from a technical, trade, or vocational school. Related Work Experience: 4 to 6 years of related work experience. Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
