SIMÓN BOLÍVAR SCHOOL GROUP IS SEEKING A PRESCHOOL EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT **Position Title:** Educational Assistant / Preschool Assistant **Area:** Preschool **Work Schedule:** 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM **Modality:** In-person POSITION DESCRIPTION Provide direct support to the **lead preschool teacher** in pedagogical, organizational, and formative guidance of students, fostering a safe, structured, and inclusive environment that promotes the holistic development of children while respecting individual characteristics and classroom dynamics. RESPONSIBILITIES * Support the lead teacher during academic, recreational, and daily routine activities. * Accompany students individually or in small groups, as directed by the teacher. * Encourage student participation, attention, and emotional regulation. * Assist with supervision during recess, transitions, and special activities. Pedagogical Support * Support implementation of activities planned by the teacher (table work, learning centers, guided games, sensory activities). * Collaborate in observing students’ progress, behaviors, and needs, promptly reporting findings to the teacher. * Foster positive communication among students and promote coexistence norms. * Assist in organizing school events, special activities, and materials. * Adhere to internal protocols for safety, coexistence, and child care. REQUIRED PROFILE: Current student or graduate of HIGH SCHOOL, UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE, OR HIGHER, with studies in: * Early Childhood Education * Pedagogy * Educational Psychology * Special Education * Educational Intervention * Childcare * Other fields related to education or early childhood KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS * Basic understanding of preschool-age child development. * Ability to follow lesson plans and pedagogical instructions. * Appropriate group management skills under the supervision of the lead teacher. * Sensitivity to identify emotional and educational needs.
