Job Summary: We are seeking a freelance Accountant/Accounting Analyst to provide specialized accounting support for audits, ensuring the validation of financial information. Key Highlights: 1. Collaboration in integrating information for audit conclusions. **Position:** Accountant / Accounting Analyst / Temporary / Freelance **Duration:** Project-based (fixed term) **Job Objective** To provide specialized accounting support during an audit project, ensuring accurate collection, analysis, and validation of the client's financial information to facilitate accounting review and compliance with applicable tax and financial regulations. **Responsibilities** * Collect and organize the client's accounting and financial information required for the audit process. * Analyze accounting records, journal entries, trial balances, and financial statements. * Review supporting documentation for revenues, expenses, invoicing, and bank reconciliations. * Validate compliance with tax obligations and correct application of accounting standards. * Prepare audit working papers and reports. * Identify potential accounting inconsistencies or financial risks. * Follow up on client requests for additional information. * Collaborate with the audit team in integrating and analyzing information to issue project conclusions. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting. * Prior experience in general accounting, auditing, or accounting review. * Knowledge of Mexican tax regulations and accounting principles. * Experience in financial information analysis and accounting reconciliations. * Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency. **Competencies** * Analytical skills and attention to detail. * Organization and handling of confidential information. * Goal-oriented work ethic and ability to meet deadlines. * Professional communication with clients. **Project Conditions** * Freelance arrangement / $19,000 monthly net * Fixed-term project during the audit process. * Direct interaction with the client for collecting and validating accounting information.
