TECHNICAL DRAFTER – HVAC / ELECTROMECHANICAL INSTALLATIONS Location: Eastern CDMX Modality: Full-time / Freelance per project Salary range: According to skills. Availability for site visits: (on-site surveys) POSITION OBJECTIVE Develop technical drawings for electromechanical installations (HVAC and electrical) based on on-site surveys, engineering specifications, and applicable standards, ensuring technical accuracy and construction clarity for field execution. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES * Create 2D and 3D drawings in AutoCAD for HVAC and electromechanical installations. * Update drawings based on technical surveys, photographs, and corrections. * Interpret architectural and civil works drawings for installation coordination. * Apply technical symbols according to Mexican standards (NOM/NMX) and ASHRAE. * Collaborate with engineers to represent specific construction solutions. * Organize and classify CAD files with version control and properly ordered layers. * Generate single-line diagrams, isometric diagrams, and construction details. * Incorporate field observations and verify consistency between drawings and actual conditions. * (Optional) Basic 3D modeling in Revit for visualization or coordination. PROFILE REQUIREMENTS * Technical, technological, or TSU degree in technical drawing, electromechanical engineering, architecture, or related field. * Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD (verifiable with technical portfolio). * Minimum of 2 years of experience in electromechanical or HVAC installation drafting. * Knowledge of piping, valves, fan & coil units, condensate drainage, flow rates, etc. * Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and installation drawings. * (Desirable) Proficiency in Revit MEP. * (Desirable) Knowledge of NOM and NMX regulations for installations. * (Desirable) Experience in on-site surveys. KEY SKILLS * Rigor and attention to technical detail. * Document organization and correct use of layers, blocks, and symbols. * Ability to communicate technically with engineers and supervisors. * Responsibility to deliver work on time and as required. * Flexibility to revise and correct drawings based on technical feedback.
