Holding certifications related to this field—especially DC \-5\ certification—is considered a plus. **Responsibilities:** * Comply with and enforce applicable EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards, rules, and procedures for your area, activity, and role per job position, to “End Every Day Injury- and Incident-Free” and make O\-I a safer place. * Support supervisors, area leaders, and the engineering department in developing Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) for respective areas. * Deliver training on current procedures to general and affected personnel. * Conduct EHS\-019\-R5 inspections of on-site contractors. * Ensure written, site-specific safety procedures are developed and maintained, and that such documents remain up-to-date and accessible at all times. * Participate in hazard identification and risk assessment for equipment and machinery as required. * Conduct the annual review of this procedure and routine inspections of machinery and equipment requiring guards and safety devices. * Perform the annual evaluation of machinery and equipment per document EHS\-009\-R1 Annual Evaluation of Guards and Safety Devices. * Deliver LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedure training to affected personnel. * Maintain potential risk analyses for welding and cutting activities conducted at the worksite, serving as the basis for establishing preventive measures to protect workers, third parties, and facilities. * Ensure operation and maintenance of emergency equipment: inspection and maintenance of emergency stretchers, signage, eye wash stations and safety showers, rescue equipment, firefighting equipment, fire suppression system valves, alarms and smoke detectors, emergency lighting, evacuation routes, emergency exits, roof inspections and roof access, inspections of LP gas stationary tank supplies, storage of gases and molds, hazardous substances in general, gas storage inspections, LP gas station inspections. * Evaluate and approve high-risk activities and work. * Participate in the OIS system according to assigned functional roles and responsibilities. **Requirements** **Employment Type:** Indefinite-term contract **Shift Availability:** 6 a.m.\-2 p.m., 2 p.m.\-10 p.m., or 10 p.m.\-6 a.m., with one randomly scheduled day off. **Education/Training:** Bachelor’s degree, engineering degree, or technical qualification relevant to the role. **Experience:** Three years of professional experience in emergency management, including fire-fighting equipment usage and handling, first aid, search and rescue, intermediate-level fire suppression, emergency response team integration, and high-risk work (electric welding, oxy-fuel cutting, working at heights, hot work, confined space entry, rigging, chemical handling, asset security, production, and basic maintenance knowledge). **Technical Knowledge:** * ISO Standards (9, 14, 22\) * LEAN MANUFACTURING * OHSAS, STPS, HACCP * Microsoft Excel and Word Candidates residing near Los Reyes\-Texcoco, Santiago Cuautlalpan, State of Mexico, Mexico will be prioritized. **Additional Information** All your information will be kept confidential in accordance with EEO guidelines.
