Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring compliance with EHS standards during installation and assembly activities, managing risks and operational discipline to prevent incidents. Key Responsibilities: 1. Implement and monitor the client’s and project’s EHS policies. 2. Manage work permits: LOTO, working at heights, cutting/welding, lifting operations. 3. Conduct audits and document findings and corrective actions. PROFILE: Responsible for ensuring compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards during plant installation, assembly, and integration activities, managing risks, work permits, and operational discipline to prevent incidents, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain project continuity. ACTIVITIES: * Implement and monitor compliance with the client’s and project’s EHS policies: use of PPE, signage, housekeeping, and access control. * Develop, review, and execute risk assessments (AST/JSA), safety inductions, daily toolbox talks, and competency verification. * Manage work permits: LOTO, working at heights, cutting/welding, lifting operations, confined space entry, and use of elevated work platforms (as applicable). * Conduct safety walkthroughs, audits, and observations; document findings, corrective actions, and follow-up. * Investigate incidents and near-misses, generate reports, and coordinate preventive/corrective actions with crew leaders and the client. * Supervise safe conditions of tools, equipment, and operations (lifting, forklifts), verifying checklists and certifications. * Maintain EHS logbooks, basic statistics, and evidence for client compliance and audits. REQUIREMENTS: * Experience: 3+ years as an EHS supervisor/coordinator in industrial plants or construction sites (assembly, maintenance, electromechanical construction, or system integration). * EHS Knowledge: Practical expertise in risk control, work permits, LOTO, working at heights, lifting operations, and on-site safe practices. * Execution and Control: Ability to enforce operational discipline, document evidence, and track corrective actions. * DESIRABLE: Certifications/training: LOTO, working at heights, elevated work platform operation, rigging/lifting, first aid, fire suppression.
