Position Summary:
Coordinate material procurement for construction projects, focusing on preventive purchasing, negotiation with strategic suppliers, and budget control.

**Main Responsibilities**
* Coordinate material procurement according to construction schedules
* Anticipate purchasing needs to avoid emergencies and delays
* Develop a preventive—rather than reactive—purchasing logic
* Collaborate with cost and construction teams to ensure purchases align with budget and schedule
* Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, commercial terms, and credit conditions
* Build professional, long-term relationships with strategic suppliers
* Continuously compare market prices and opportunities
* Monitor purchase orders promptly
* Verify complete and timely deliveries
* Identify deviations or purchases exceeding budget
* Coordinate daily with site supervisors and superintendents
* Validate requisitions and actual priorities per project
* Prevent duplicate or unnecessary purchases
* Implement KPIs, reports, and standardized templates
* Strengthen documentary traceability within the department
* Participate in implementing the RDI Operating System (EOS)
* Integrate procurement with cost and construction control processes
* Maintain updated supplier registration and evaluation records
* Track price comparisons
* Generate weekly reports for General Management
**Essential Requirements**
* Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement for construction, infrastructure, or industrial sectors
* Proven experience working directly on active construction sites
* Hands-on negotiation experience with steel, concrete, earthworks, finishes, electrical and hydraulic installations, subcontracting, machinery, and equipment rental
* Experience coordinating with construction, cost, administration, and warehouse teams
* Proficiency with ERP or administrative systems
* Document control and operational follow-up capability
* Advanced Excel skills, budget control, and price analysis
* Basic blueprint reading ability and understanding of volumetric calculations
**Desirable**
* Experience in industrial projects, hydraulic infrastructure, or industrial warehouses
* Experience working in companies with a strong KPI- and process-driven culture
**Technical Knowledge**
* Construction ERP systems
