Proficiency in risk analysis (AST, IPERC, ATS, PETAR). **EDUCATION:** * Industrial, Environmental, Mining Engineering, or related field. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * REGULATORY COMPLIANCE: Identify and ensure compliance with applicable mining regulations (STPS, SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, Mining Safety Standards, NOM-023-STPS, etc.). * CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT AND INNOVATION: Implement and maintain the VELAVO / PASST Self-Management STPS management system at the workplace. Develop, implement, and update site-specific safety procedures for underground or open-pit operations (blasting, hauling, roof support, slope work, face entry, etc.). Promote safety culture through awareness campaigns. * MONITORING AND CONTROL: Monitor, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for the HSE area. Identify, assess, and manage environmental aspects and impacts arising from company activities. * PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT: Coordinate and supervise HSE personnel under your responsibility at the worksite, ensuring adherence to HSE standards. Train and coordinate emergency response teams, conduct drills (collapse, underground fire, explosion), and implement mine emergency response plans. * OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT: Coordinate investigation and analysis of incidents and near-misses, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Conduct daily inspections at mine faces, mechanical workshops, and workstations to identify unsafe conditions and acts. Supervise the operation and maintenance of PPE and engineering controls in high-risk environments (explosive atmospheres, gases, collapses, rock falls, vibrations, noise, respirable dust).
