Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio About FARO Data Intelligence: We are an agency focused on transforming disorganized databases into clear visual dashboards for companies in the United States. We seek a Data Analyst / BI Developer to collaborate on ongoing, on-demand projects. Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do): \-Extract and process raw databases from Excel, Google Sheets, or CRMs (Shopify, QuickBooks, etc.). \-Structure effective and optimized relational data models. \-Design interactive, clean, and decision-focused visual dashboards. \-Perform reconciliation testing to ensure dashboard numbers match the original database exactly, down to the cent. **Mandatory Requirements** (Do not apply unless you meet these): \-Advanced English language proficiency. \-Technical Expertise (ETL and Visualization): Proven experience cleaning dirty data (inconsistent dates, null values, duplicates) using tools such as Power Query, Prep, or basic SQL. Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio. \-Business Acumen: We do not seek someone who only knows how to create attractive charts; we seek someone who understands business. You must be able to identify and propose appropriate KPIs (Sales, Margins, Inventory Turnover) based on the client’s industry. \-Clear and Direct Communication: Ability to explain data models and technical issues using simple language (without excessive technical jargon). \-Portfolio Required: You must include links or PDFs of at least two interactive dashboards you have previously built. We will evaluate whether the interface (UI/UX) is clean, professional, and easily understandable within 5 seconds. \-Deliverable-Based Work: You must agree to a payment-upon-delivery model. Payment for each project is released once the connected dashboard is delivered, along with exact reconciliation proof and an explanatory video (Loom) demonstrating that all filters function correctly.
